Stay Connected On The Road

No matter where you are or where you’re going, there is one thing we all want to do whilst aboard our Fretz RV and that’s stay connected. One of the best times to get pictures is when you’re RVing and part of the fun is sharing those images with those you care about. Especially if you’re a full-timer, you’re going to want to stay in touch with the rest of the world in some capacity. Here we have two of the most popular electronic needs and how to stay connected on the road.

Internet

These days, most everyone is in touch with the internet in some capacity. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a newbie, there are likely some spots online that you enjoy frequenting. One of the hot topics related to RVing is people wanting to know if they can get to their favorite websites while on the road. Well, of course you can! As technology has advanced, so has the reach of signals to the motorhome. One option we hear a lot of good feedback about is the USB internet cards. Verizon has 4G capable options and goes right into that slot on your laptop or desktop computer. The product can even be extended to include other wireless devices in your procession.

Television

Even if you’re not really a TV watcher, odds are there is at least one show you enjoy catching. If it’s not a show, perhaps the news or music? Living without this simple connection would be difficult and yet basically impossible to have in time past. Thankfully, providers such as Dish Network have pay-as-you-go programs so you won’t have large monthly bills. For as low as $24.99 a month you can get connected and occasionally sneak a peak to see what’s on.Do you stay connected to the outside while in your camper or do you enjoy the solace and solitude that RVing can bring?
