A classic road trip destination and one that everyone should see once, check out our country’s 15th oldest national park, the Grand Canyon. If you don’t want to camp at the Grand Canyon, opt for the Flagstaff KOA or the J and H RV Park to be closer to the action of Flagstaff.
Fall – Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina
Asheville isn’t the only city with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, but this city boasts far more than just gorgeous fall scenery. Once you’re finished admiring the foliage along the parkway, head to downtown Asheville for world-renowned eateries, breweries, night spots, shopping and tons more. This small city in the mountains is also teeming with nearby campgrounds including the French Broad River Campground, Wilson’s Riverfront RV Park, Asheville’s Bear Creek RV Park and tons more.
